TOP 5 RUNWAY RECAP: PRE-FALL 2020

The Pre-Fall 2020 fashion shows began in December and breezed by with all the commotion of the holidays with some presentations still trickling in. With the men's Autumn/Winter 2020 shows wrapping up and the Paris Haute Couture show's underway, we wanted to take a look at some of the trends coming out of Pre-Fall 2020. We will most likely we see these Top 5 continue into the next season so check back for our recap then!
#1 The Cardigan is key for trans-seasonal weather due to its styling versatility. Seeing this from more and more brands as streetwear is phasing out.
#2 Continuing to see intimates as outerwear with bralettes, corsets and structured bras. Seeing more in evening wear.
#3 Dots continue to be a big trend from Spring - loving the color on color and larger scale patterns.
#4 Plaid as the year round print continue from Spring and into Fall. Classic gingham and tartans as well as more abstract versions.
#5 Graphic Tees dressed up back to skirts, suits, dresses and Fall shine.
COLOR RECAP: Bold brights mixed with spice hues (rust and mustard) and a sprinkle of pastels. Brands were not afraid to be bold with color which will continue into the Autumn/Winter presentations.
